Africa Upcycling Earrings
Handmade earrings from Kenya.
In collaboration with young tailors from the suburbs of Nairobi, we make these earrings from the waste of the clothing production. The fabric is a traditional wax print also called Kitenge and is used here in Kenya mainly for the production of skirts and dresses. The waste resp. Sections are usually simply burned. Too bad we thought and developed together with the local tailors the idea of these beautiful earrings.
Part of the proceeds will be used for the acquisition of equipment and the training of Scheider.
