Eco server - we rely on regenerative energy

Hello dear Dreadbag friends,

the power of our servers (data centers) is generated from renewable energy sources, mainly from hydropower in Scandinavian hydroelectric power stations.

Our servers are certified by EnergieVision eV and carry the green electricity label “ok-power”. The award criteria of the “ok-power” seal of approval ensure that the products with the seal of approval lead to an “additional environmental benefit”. EnergieVision eV thus sets transparent requirements for the use of green electricity. Founding members of the association are the Öko-Institut eV, the consumer center North Rhine-Westphalia eV and the environmental foundation World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) Germany.

We save energy

The use of hardware in the data centers always takes place under the aspects of resource conservation and energy saving potential. This starts with individual hardware components and continues to build up the entire data center. Specially developed racks and server housings reduce the cost of air conditioning, together with an optimal room design.
